Quota employment in the Republic of Croatia is an obligation to employ people with disabilities and applies to all employers with more than 20 employees.

Quota employers are employers who employ at least 20 workers. The exceptions to this are foreign missions, foreign diplomatic and consular missions, integrative and protective workshops, employers in the textile, clothing, leather, wood and furniture production sector and newly established employers at the time of introduction. Quota employers are obliged to employ persons with disabilities in an appropriate job, in appropriate working conditions, in the amount of 3% of the total number of employees on the basis of which the quota is determined, regardless of the activity performed by the employer.
Substitute fulfillment of the quota employment obligation can be achieved in several ways, of which we present this way:
-conclude one or more agreements on business cooperation with a protective workshop and an integrative workshop, ie a company, cooperative or association in which more than half of the workers are persons with disabilities.
